Why is my composter sprouting stuff? This is both disgusting and intriguing.
I get this a lot, and don’t consider it a problem at all. It’s not unexpected that seeds in the compost would start to take root in such a moist and nutrient-rich envrionment; but they won’t get very far without sunlight!
I just pull them up and let them decay back into the compost.
